Has anyone with a Peve Starfish ever experienced this? Mine seems to have stopped “starfishing”! I have had it for 9 years, and it just started doing this the past few.

I tried moving it to various locations in case sun exposure was an issue, even though it starfished fantastically its first several years in the same location. Also tried some fertilizer in case it was nutrient related, although it still could be and maybe I just haven’t found the nutrient it needs. Also have repotted it. All to no avail. You can see it still appears to try to curl but curls up instead of down, and weakly.

I emailed Mr Maple, from whom I bought the tree in 2016, and their answer was that this is not a Peve Starfish. Kinda embarrassing for them, to be honest. Also included is a photo of my tree in its youthful glory days. Any clue anyone?

Thanks Alain, at this point I'll accept absolutely any explanation as being possible, but I think this is very unlikely. In the photos you can see the very large container it was up-potted into with fresh soil last year, and I have been meticulous with maintaining appropriate moisture levels, and without overwatering.
