Got Walnut Husk Fly? Walnut-Walnut husk fly
My 6yr old walnut orchard does. I am looking for ways to manage it and am hoping to try a product called gf120 - its a fruit fly bait that works well for the husk fly and seems to be most safe and least toxic insecticide for them. Its available in Canada without an applicator's certificate, but hard to find. Is there a magical agricultural pesticide supply resource I can't find? I have Terralink in Abbostford on the case, but its taking some time and that fly will be hatching soon. Maybe there's another way to slow these guys down other than sticky traps?

Try calling the Otter Coop in Aldergrove. They have ordered pesticides that they don't stock in the past for me, and I wasn't a member.
