    Hey all,
I'm brand spankin new to this forum.

I have some questions regarding Pereskiopsis spathulata. I recieved some cuttings in the mail... about a week later than I would have prefered. Now 2 are dead and I am struggling with the last one.
Its in my indoor greenhouse 50-80% humidity around 25C.

    Can anyone help me out?

What have you planted them in?
What did the dead ones die from? Rot? Desiccation?

They began to rot during shipping. Turned mushy and dark green. Originally i put then in damp cactus soil. The remaining cutting is now just in water.

So the sender did not pack them properly. I have never tried rooting Pereskiopsis in water, I always use slightly damp cactus compost, so I cannot say if that will work or not.

I've asked him to send me new ones. The 3rd and final cutting just died. He has shown me great success growing them strictly with water. He's got a mini-hydroponic set up that is working well.

    Thanks for the help mandarin!
