i am plating granex onions from seed. They are in peat pelets and im keeping them there for 8 weeks. i was wondering if its a good idea to keep the onions in the peats the full time or transplant in a bigger pot and use a different soil mixture.

    Yellow granex onions

Yellow granex onions hybrids: Start indoors 8 wks. before transplanting. Harvest bulbs after swelling when tops fall over, dig bulbs, store in cool dry place. Plant outside without disturbing the roots.
