some branches the leaves are completely brown and falling off , the other leaves on the tree are lime green with some dark green . this has been getting worse year after year . any ideas ?
Fire blight produces scattered scorching of whole twigs including wood, with non-infested shoots remaining normal-looking. Your tree has turned all yellow, indicating there is some kind of systemic problem that is leading to scorching of leaves on extremities. Looks quite like a yellow-leaved, sunburn prone variant of another kind of plant might at this time of the year in a full sun location.
