Our pear tree which was planted 3 years ago grew leaves very sparsely this year (did amazing last year!) and I noticed these sap bubbles on the trunk. I did remove some the out last year that had grown in a little bit. Are these from damage done from the ties? Will the tree die? Is there anything I can do to get it back to its flourishing self? Or should I just leave it be?
