There appears to be some conflicting information out there regarding pollination of various pear varieties. I have Lousie Bonne pear. A few sites mention it cannot be pollinated by Bartlett. On the other hand other sites mention you only have to worry about a Seckel-Bartlett combination.
Also tables of pear varieties and blooming period overlap (for pollination) don't seem to very complete in Canada - don't include varieties such as the Sierra pear which is commonly sold in BC.
Any feedback on the Louise Bonne-Bartlett combination would be appreciated. The Louise Bonne is also quite an early bloomer and the Bartlett seems to be definitely later. I am wondering whether I need yet a third pear like a Conference to pollinate them both.
