Hi ... anyone know what might be causing these three problems:

An Italian plum tree that bears plenty of fruit, though the fruit is smaller this year. It seems to be slowly dying from the bottom up. Growth on upper branches appears vigourous and healthy still, but by summer's end the leaves appear to be being eaten in a "birdshot" pattern. Affects other plum trees I have as well.

Pears appears lacerated, growing worse over the summer. Fruit is more or less useless. Used to happen to all my pear trees but this year only one seems affected. I only spray with dormant oil and lime sulphur during the winter, and foliar feeding during the summer.

Found out from another thread that this is black knot fungus.
