    Hi there,

About two years ago, I put together a 10 gallon vivarium for a tree frog that included a peace lily. It was without a frog until about January, when it started getting proper care, proper UV light and trimmings when the plants got too large. A few weeks ago, I had to cut a couple of the leaves off of the peace lily, and a couple of days later, these mucous-y globules formed at the cut.

I am assuming this is a sort of sap - but I wanted to check if this was any cause for alarm, and if anyone had any recommended habits for trimming back peace lilies.

    Thank you!

Yes, it would be because you cut the stem and purely incidental.

Might the tree frog have laid eggs? In my experience, peace lilies don't make globules, whether they're cut or not.
