Paulownia Tomentosa exotic tree help ??

    i would like to purcahser one of these trees from baby, should i get a young plant 15-25cm tall, or grow from seed. does anyone know how much these would cost and what sort of height can i expect it to grow in the first season?? i heard they r very fast growers.. Any help appreceated!!

    Can anyone suggest any other fast growing exotics that can grow in uk?? I want to make my garden look a bit different, cheers x

    Britain zone 8/9
    It is prone to damage by late spring frosts in Britain and can be difficult to get established here; the flowers also only survive occasionally, usually they get frosted while in bud.

    All specimen I've seen some fine and robust Paulownia tomentosa here around the PNW. I had some 5 gallon trees that rooted into some mulch though the drainage holes in the pots. I severed them to move the trees and the roots that where left in the mulch have started new trees. These flower without fail here every May.
