Wondering why our 2 empress trees are growing slowly and never bloom. Live in Snohomish, WA area. We are getting up a little higher in elevation than the Puget Sound basin. Is this the problem? They look healthy otherwise but stunted according to the information I have read.
Dry soil in summer? They like lots of rain during the growing season. Looked up Snohomish, and it isn't so high in the mountains that cold would affect the growth.
