I wander how long a flower stays open when it blooms. I bought a nice Passion flower plant that blooms two flowers at once but they stay open for about a day and a half and then they close. It is almost like morning glory and a bit dissapointing. Is it normal, or i do something wrong? Please if anyone can give me some advise? Thanks
usually about 3 days is the norm. The Jesuit priests that discovered the plant equated that to the 3 days between the crucifiction and the ressurection of Christ and so called it the "Passion Flower". Native to central america not the middle east.
