I've just purchased a beautiful passion flower but I'm not sure whether I can
keep it outside in the garden all year long. I live in Prince Edward Island Zone 5.
    Thanks.

Passion flower is not likely to over-winter in PEI. I have grown several passion flower plants over the last six years. Over-wintering was tried without success. Several times I have dug the plants and kept alive in a pot until Spring. Now I buy a new plant every year. One year I grew one from seed (2006/2007), and got was quite large.

This plant was kept in a pot over winter in the furnace room. It was placed in the ground in about 24 May 2006
