I found this plant in the reference book "Perennials" by Timber Press. I believe the book is written by folks around the Bellevue/Seattle area. I can't seem to find much of ANYTHING about this plant on the web, much less where to buy it. Has anyone seen it?
Paris quadrifolia, common name herb paris. I realise I am not in your area, but here there seems quite a lot on www about it. We grow it in shady woodland,on acid soil. However, it grows naturally in Britain in areas of limestone. It grows in the spring, sets seed and then disappears again until next year. Ours never gets taller than 6" http://www.plant-identification.co.uk/skye/liliaceae/paris-quadrifolia.htm http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Pa...i&biw=1280&bih=572&sei=fue8TuanEouE8gP1q9GRBA http://www.alpinegardensociety.net/plants/plant-portraits/Paris/69/ Why not order seeds on www see... http://www.chilternseeds.co.uk/item_953b_paris_quadrifolia_seeds
