I don't know if this is the right page to use, but I wasn't allowed to use the outdoor tropical forum. Oh, well.
My question is regarding my Washingtonia filifera. It went through the winter alright, except for a little frost burn, but my concern is that the wind has tattered some of its leaves to shreds. What is the best way to remedy this problem?
    Thanks a lot!

If you mean a way to repair the tattered fronds, there isn't. If they are too unsightly for you, you can prune off the older fronds, leaving just the few in the center. This deprives the palm of some photosynthesis, but it will rebound and be full by midsummer. This palm is generally loved for it's ratty petticoat, although some people love to keep that trim, too.
