I have two thousand stands of palm trees(Tenere) in my nusery. I have nursed it for one year without any problem but i do persive a strange but not offensive odour while i am at the nursery. i was waiting for the rain to commence to move the seedlings to my farm .One afternoon i dicovered about two hundred of the seedlings were destroyed, next day about fifty went down as a result of the destruction of the pest. please assist me, I am not an agric expert.I work as a computer technician in Federal University Oye Ekiti. i only practice agriculture at my spare time
