Could you help me identify the Palm Tree in the attachment. It is in my yard. It has several berry clusters, some of which have ripened and small delicious. I will append a second post with a pic of berries.
Attached is a picture of the fruit on the unknown Palm. Is it edible? Will the seeds inside grow into a Palm tree? Thanks
Yes they are edible if a bit fibrous. They'll sprout reluctantly (weeks or months) and slooooowly produce another Pindo Palm (Butia Sp.). HTH Chris
