Hi all! This looks like the right forum for answers. I just bought a house and am trying to identify various palm trees in the yard. Can anyone help? Here are the 4 in question:

I'm guessing the first 2 are some type of fan palm?

    Thanks guys!

    Sabal sp. probably Sabal palmetto.
The smaller of the two is too close to the house
digging an moving these is a big chore.
    Alpinia zerumbet (Shell ginger)
    Dracaena marginata
You appear to have a Mulberry (M.alba)next to the
fence post (ginger image). It's a weed and
    should be removed also.

Thank you so much. This is a huge help.

So what is the trick to transplanting such a young sabal palm?

A long sharpshooter type shovel, pack a lunch and some sunscreen.
They have a way large subterranean trunk/rootball.
