    Hi,
I have indoor palm trees (bunch of 3 trees)which I bought almost 3 years ago. I have planted it in a big pot (24" diameter, 30" height), I have following questions

    1) It never grown in past 3 years. Although it was doing good, Its height remained same.

    2) For past few weeks it looks pale and branches are coming down. Even the new fronds look very weak and going down.

I brought some granules to suppliment nitrogen and put it once in 6 months. Currently I have put it in sunlight (direct) but I live in New Jersey and temerature is not very high here now days.

    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Shishir

I don't know what kind of palms you have, Majesty Palm 'Ravenea rivularisbut' don't make good houseplants for many people.

I have an Areca (Dypsis lutescen) and Parlor Palm (Chamaedorea elegans) They get bright indirect light, plus they will get some sun and dapple light during the day too. I also keep them a little snug in their pots.

The soil should be very well draining and moist to the touch, not saturated, or dried out. Haven't had any kind of pest problem (knock on wood) but, spidermites can be a problem with palms. Check for wispy webbing around the fronds.

You can use a weak watered down all purpose fertilizer like 10-10-10 that's "water soluble", Too much fertilizer can cause "fertilizer root burn" and you don't want that!
Use on "healthy plants" not that are looking sickly.I don't fertilize any plants from late fall until early spring, some people feed all winter.

    Thank you.
I think mine is Royal Palm, but I am not sure. Attached is the picture.

Not sure if it's a royal palm or not. It kinda reminds me of a Phoenix roebelenii (Pygmy Date Palm) which did not do well for me as an indoor plant...

Hopefully, someone here will be able to tell you which palm you have, care might be a little different from the two I mentioned.
