    Hi,

I have a palm tree in my back garden (UK). It's about 10ft. high - about 10 years old and has been happy as Larry outside planted in the border for all this time; it has 'flowered' (horrible smelling cluster of little things) for the past 3-4 years. We had a really bad winter this year and the top of my palm is now looking very sick. Lots (and lots) of the leaves are brown (not many green ones left) and they are dropping off in the dozen by the day.

Is my tree dead? Should I just chop it down and call it a day, or is there something I can do to save it?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
