This palm was at the resort we stayed at in St. Maarten last week. I'm pretty sure I've seen these in Mexico as well. Can anyone id this? I'm guessing they cannot survive here...
and these ones too what are these? other palms like photo one had some seeds.. I was so tempted to bring some home.. but knew I'd get into some serious trouble..
Bismarkia Noblis Is the first pic. They are not hardy here. They are an amazing silver blue colour. The first time I saw them was Dec 2003 in Fort Lauderdale Florida. I saw one that was easily 30+ feet.
Howdy Palm nut, I'm not very sure, so please don't quote me. The first two pictures look like Toddy palm, the third may be a Royal palm while the fourth looks like a date palm. Peace Thean
First 2 are Bismarks.(Bis. Nob.) The third is a Bottle palm I believe, and the last is a Pigmy Date Palm (Ph. Rob.).
