Identification: Pacific NW alpine

    I am curious about this pink one of the first photo - a slightly younger version of it appears with the white baneberry in the second photo. They were both taken on a trail above Lake Lousie, probably about 6000 foot elevation, June 26. Slope open to a fair amount of sun and trapped moisture possibly.

    Check Thalictrum occidentale (Meadow Rue) for the first photo. If not T occidentale, probably another Thalictrum species.

    Second looks like an Actaea species (Baneberry; caution: very toxic if eaten)

    YES... found it! That's it. rather like a jelly fish
