I recently bought a small money tree and re-potted it from a 4" pot into a 7" pot. When I re-potted it, I noticed the roots were VERY tightly bound together and I tried to loosen them a little when re-potting.

I have noticed that some of the tips of the leaves are turning yellow, does that have to do with the re-potting and the roots? Is it a sign of overwatering? Should I try to loosen the roots even more?

    Please help!

    Change of environmental conditions.

You recently purchased a plant, brought it into a different environment, then disturbed the roots. Then you are having problems with a few leaves turning yellow...and likely will drop.

Keep the soil on the dry side, water sparingly. The plant is in shock. It will likely drop more leaves before this is all done. Show some restraint and leave well enough alone for now. Give it a few weeks to adjust. In the mean time, keep an eye on it and watch for pests, as it will be particularly vulnerable at this time.
