Hi, these picture are from Utsjoki in Finnish Lapland last July. On the first I'm trying to figure out what the white flower is (to the right of the Common butterwort (Pinguicula vulgaris) ) and on the second picture my bust guess is Oxyria digyna, but color and flowers don't feel right... -the where both growing on the Tana riverbank. -any ideas? :) Thanks, // Magnus;
2. The leaves are very distinctive in your pic. Such an unusual shape. Maybe the plant is stressed and starting to colour up for the autumn. Looks good to me for Oxyria. http://www.plant-identification.co.uk/skye/polygonaceae/oxyria-digyna.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Oxyria_digyna_8596.JPG
