I am just gosh curious, which trees, deciduous or conifer including shrubs etc are the oxygen producers, and which are not???

I have always "sensed" that the air/ oxygen is freshest under the canopy of a deciduous forest or mixed forest than under a homogeneous cedar or fir canopy?

Am I a nut case or is there some truth to this....

And should we be thinking of what trees to plant in the near future?

I think Bamboo takes the cake on oxygen producing, especially large timber forests. It's also an incredible and edible renewable resource alternative to some wood products.
