Hello all. This is my first post and I hope I can get some help... I bought this acer, planted it and not much happened. I came back from holiday and this new branch had appeared and is growing rapidly. It almost seems separate from the rest of the plant and I think it will eventually break off with the weight! Should I support it or prune it? I actually bought 2 plants and they have behaved almost identically... Thank you for any help, it is much appreciated.
