over watering or not enough

    can someone tell me if my Elephant ears plant is too dry or overwatered or ? dont know why leaves are turning yellow

    If only one old leaf is turning brown, then it may be normal replacement of old leaves.
    As the leaf is the most distant from the window, it could also be starving from lack of light.
    From your photo it seems, that there is nothing wrong with watering. Overall, the plant is not drooping and the other leaves seem to be healthy.
    If your container has drainage hole, then there should not be big issue with over watering.
    To my eye, the container seems to be a bit too small for a plant so large.
