We bought a house with two rather large, well established Crepe Myrtle trees. Unfortunatley, the previous owners pruned the upper and lower branches so severely, that the lower branches are now completely bare. The upper branches of the tree are beginning to recover, but the lower branches are absolutley stark. Is there a way to get new growth on these lower branches?
