My hedgerow of patty`s purple hebe looks terrible now that the snow has melted off. They are 3 years in this spot and I`d really like to save them. Will the brown leaves drop and re-sprout from the stems?Or is a more drastic pruning required? There is green in the main stems but the tips are floppy and waterlogged.
    Thanks

Cut back in spring if still alive. Do nothing now.

Many hebes are not very hardy.

Thanks for the advice,Ron.It`s not looking too hopeful now.The bark is peeling off to reveal significant tissue damage. The stumps are still alive though.
