Outdoor Plant ID??

    Hi everyone:

    This thread can be moved if necessary... I found a section to help identify indoor plants and this sections says we can post of ID on Garden Pest Management... Which category is to identify outdoor plants?

    We have moved into our new home last fall and I need help identifying some of the plants in my yard.

    Ok, here are the pics.

    My first language is French, makes it hard to find plant names in English. I think the 3rd one is a peony but not sure what kind. I'm sure someone can help, I'm sure they are pretty common plants, I just have no idea what they are as I am new at gardening:

    yes, we DO need pics if we're going to help with id's!! plants should be in 'plant id' area and bugs that need id should be in this one.

    005 - ? Sedum sp.
    006 - Hydrangea macrophylla.
    007, 008 - Paeonia lactiflora.

    OMG! You have just made my day! The Hydrangea is one of my favorite plant ever! This is wonderful. I heard that adding or removing aluminium from the groud can make the color of the flower change.

    Thank you, this site is amazing, I never thought someone could help me this quick. Now I have to learn how to care for them, I want them to look nice and healthy!
