I have recently developed a passion for figs. I understand that Osborne Prolific (Neveralla) is one of only a few varieties that will yield a second (September) crop in our mild Vancouver summers. It is a large fig with bronze skin colour and amber-white interior. In my searches of Vancouver nurseries and back-yard gardens I have yet to come across this variety. I would be very grateful to anyone in the Vancouver area who might be willing to surrender a cutting/sucker of the said fig. I have rooted cuttings of many varieties (King, Lattarula, Brunswick, several Brown Turkey varieties, Black Kalamata etc) and would be happy to trade. I am also interested in finding two other varieties: Stella and White russian (with September crop, green skin and red flesh). Thanks! bostock@eos.ubc.ca
