ornamental from Acapulco

    This shrub was about 2 m tall and wide. Not very elegant plant but interesting bloom; bracts about 10 cm across.

    Mussaenda. I'm not familiar with white ones, but I think it looks like Mussaenda philippica, and I'm finding cultivar names 'Aurore' or 'Aurorae' or 'Dona Aurora', which may or may not all be the same thing.

    Mussaenda never entered my head, even though I have seen pink (bract) Mussaenda a few times, but not with any flowers evident for some reason. Thank you, once again.
