A couple of us visited this installation for the first time last year. Awful! The only worthwhile collection was the conifer garden, which had some interesting specimens. For whatever reasons, there is a huge gap between what it sounded like it was going to be and what it turned out to be. I think it should be sold for development.

Ron, I think that's a new cultivar of maple, named because of its tendency to gush sap when wounded, or it could just be a typo of "Shishigashira".

I could make a joke out of "gushing sap", but that would be unpleasant. Probably >cough< was just a typo.
