I adopted an orchid a few years back. The only thing that has ever happened before was a new leaf, followed by one of the other ones dyeing. But this year, I have two stems growing. I think I might get some blooms. My question is how can I make sure this happens? Hope I can get some support from the experts in here.
I have posted in here before, same plant, but I think this time I might get some flowers..YES! How can I make sure it happens!
I should add there was a new leaf starting too, but I cut it off thinking that more energy should go to the stems. I think this has helped (but the leaf still wants to grow)

    These are roots.
Do not recommend cutting off new leaves!
Please give us a photo of your entire plant.

Leaves make energy from the sun with which the plant feeds itself. The more leaves present, the more energy a plant has. Therefore, cutting live leaves results in fewer flowers, not more. And if you amputate part or all of a new orchid shoot, you are preventing it from growing a whole new section of leaves, stems, roots - and flowers.
