I have a orchid that just got done blooming I have had it for a couple months, don't know how long it was blooming before I bought it. My question is when and how far down do I cut my orchids now that it has no blooms.

leave one or two nodes of the flower stalk from the terminal bud. use your fingers to break the stalks instead of using cutters which might contain germs or viruses. if it is a phaleanopsis, do not touch it because there might be other blooms to follow.
