My Orchid Cactus has 28 5" flowers and is beautiful but the 2' long leaves are turning yellow with brown spots. What is wrong? Sandy
Heat may be a factor. It has been in the same spot for 5 years on our front porch. It gets full sun until about noon. Watered once a week when soil is dry on top. Using normal tap water.. This is the first year of heavy blooming since planting 6 years ago. Only time it is moved is when we had a local freeze warning. Rare in florida. Sandy
allow the tap water to sit for a day before using it on the plants. allowing it to sit will allow any excess chlorine to dissipate and it will also be at room temp/outside temp and won't shock the plant (if it's too cold) when you put it on the soil.
