My Orchid Cactus has 28 5" flowers and is beautiful but the 2' long leaves are turning yellow with brown spots. What is wrong?

Too hot? Too dry? Too much sun? Too many mineral salts in water?

Heat may be a factor. It has been in the same spot for 5 years on our front porch. It gets full sun until about noon. Watered once a week when soil is dry on top. Using normal tap water.. This is the first year of heavy blooming since planting 6 years ago. Only time it is moved is when we had a local freeze warning. Rare in florida.

allow the tap water to sit for a day before using it on the plants.

allowing it to sit will allow any excess chlorine to dissipate and it will also be at room temp/outside temp and won't shock the plant (if it's too cold) when you put it on the soil.
