I was left an orange tree when my dad passed away in 2017. He started the tree from seeds I'm not sure what year he started it. So when he came back to my city from another city in 2015 he brought his tree and it was hunched over, so we got stakes and propped it up and it was around 2 ft. Now 2019 I have no oranges yet when do they start to grow? and currently they've lost a lot of leaves is that normal given the colder weather changing into warmer weather? a lady at work gave me plant food for it and it came alive but I'm all done the tiny amount she gave me. I bought a water reader to see when it needs water. The leaves that are falling off are dried and brown and fall off by themselves. What kind of food can I buy? and how can I save it?

From the photo you seem to have it very close to heater vents. When heaters are too close it will damage the leaves quite quickly. I've put together some pages on taking care of citrus in my climate (on Vancouver Island) and indoors. You can access those pages here: Growing Citrus on Vancouver Island | Aprici

So if I move it a bit away from the heater it will be ok? It will be going outside after May 25th so not much longer Do it still look ok though?

I checked out you page very helpful, I would like to know is there a citrus food I can buy online or in store that either you use there or recommend? I noticed when I made big batches of food from what my friend gave me it made a lot and I fed it according to her instructions but I only use miracle grow a bit on top of the soil sprayed at the moment but I'd prefer to use a specific food for it. This was my dad's tree and since he's passed away this is now mine. Oh and I read your piece on pruning mine looks all crazy and wild because I'm not sure on how to properly prune ot and I'm very afraid of clipping the wrong thing wpuld that also make a difference?
