My orange tree that I have in a vase in brooklyn has lost all its leaves, its not exposed to the cold (in my aprtment there). What may have caused this?
This link might help: http://www.gardenadvice.co.uk/advisor/gardening-tips/?p=98 Should the leaves drop for any reason, do not be immediately discouraged, as the tree will most likely grow a new crop of beautiful glossy leaves in a month or two, and flower soon after. Often heavy flowering and new leaf growth trigger some leaf drop in Spring. This is quite normal and new leaves will fill gaps; but more diligent feeding may avoid this leaf drop in the first place..
Thanks for the response and I will be looking fwd to the re-leaking process. I will surely pay more attention to it. I was in Jamaica for some time so that is why it was neglected
I'm afraid not, though I'd like to! I just get a kick out of looking for advice on people's plant problems on here :)
OK like me you are a lover of plants, well if you have not yet done so, then maybe you can use your love to create some revenue by doing some sort of business relating to plants or ground provisions.
