Identification: orange shelf mushroom id

    Laetiporus sulphureus, or Chicken of the Woods, would be my best guess.

    I agree with Stilbella, the mushroom is most likely Laetiporus sulphureus, one of the "Fool Proof Four" according to David Arora.

    Could also be Laetiporous conifericola if it's on a conifer log. Seems likely at Carmanah.
    Still good to eat.
