I thought I should open a new thread on my prblems instead of leading off the previous post.

I have what I think is a clementine or manderin orange tree. As previously suggested, send pictures of leaves.

The orange tree was begun from seeds that my father planted a few years ago. I just noticed it growing little green balls last fall and then had small oranges. I proceeded to eat one and it was so sour! I know nothing about oranges. Any assistance would be appreciated.

A little side question, as of yesterday, my husband brought home some green pods from a Magnolia Tree. What do I do with these???

    Thank you for any assistance.

Yes - looks very much like a calamondin. As suggested earlier, this can be confirmed by sampling the peel for sweetness when the fruit is ripe.
