One Tree, One Perennial under a tree

    DSC019771.JPG Decent size tree, thought breaking bud was pretty distinctive so have posted that in hope of ID

    Daphne laureola is rather invasive and seeds itself into wild areas, where it can change the soil chemistry and inhibit native plants. I try to remove them. Plant Daphne odora in there place.

    I had a feeling it might be that way inclined. My intention is to pull it up and mulch under the tree instead.

    Show a larger view of tree. If any leaves left on the ground from last year, show those as well.
