    Hi guys,
I have some plants in my garden and I would really like to know what they are.

The first one is small (about 10-15cm high) doesn't like frost (is tropical i believe) has black dots running on the leaves.

The second one is big (70-80cm high) and has long stalk and has the width of a thumb. Leaves are long and bright green. very hardly!
    Thanks guys!

    Looks like:
    1. Maranta leuconeura var. kerchoveana, Prayer Plant
    2. Aglaonema modestum, Chinese Evergreen

On the Maranta, do you see that you have that one new darkest leaf in the centre, and some other leaves that haven't uncurled yet? You could cut off all the rest of the old leaves right to the ground and leave just the new stuff. It will fill out fairly quickly and look nice and healthy. It's easiest to do before the new leaves open up.
