couple of my favorites heptacodium miconioides flowers are white and begin in august thru october ...this picture is taken in october ...these are the calyces (sepals) which if mild persist into november in zone 6-7 . second photo is davidia involucrata ....its taken awhile and they are still young and in the greenhouse but the flowers worth showing....
