Hi everyone, new to this forum! I have a problem with my cactus. You can see on the picture that one of them is turning white slowly. I live in Montreal and this week was really hot and my cactus was on direct sunlight so i guess it ended up being to much... Is there anything i can do to save it ? I moved it so it's not directly in the sun anymore already. I give him a smalll amount of water every 3 weeks or so. Thanks for taking the time to answer :) Frank
I think the white stem is gone, but it wonder if the sunlight was the cause. It is unlikely that it would have affected just one stem and left the others undamaged. The upper part of the other stems look very dark, is something wrong with them too? And does "directly in the sun" mean inside or outside?
I Mandarin, thanks for answering. Yes they are a little bit dark but i don't know if they were ever different. They don't seem to be in bad shape. When I said directly in the sun, I ment inside right next to the window. Finally, if this stem is "dead", should i remove it, leave it, cut it ? Thanks Frank
