I've posted pictures of this JM before. I purchased this tree not knowing what it really was because it was mis-marked at the nursery as a "Crimson Queen". I thought in the beginning that it was a Baldsmith but with fall colors like this is sure isn't a Baldsmith either. I'm leaning toward a Green Hornet but the leaves are very finely disected and I don't know if that falls to a Green Hornet or not.

    What say you all?????

Acer palmatum 'Autumn Fire' is a grafted cultivar that is green then red in fall. My 'Baldsmith' has more color in the summer than that but can be pretty green in deep shade. Hard to beat 'Baldsmith' in the fall in my limited opinion.
