    Hello all,

My boss was given the plant in the picture I have attached. It is now starting to die and she has asked me to look after it. My problem is I have no idea what type of plant it is. Maybe it needs more light or less. Maybe it needs a bigger pot. I'm not sure.
could someone please identify this plant so I can figure how to care for it?

    Thanks very very much!!

    Melody

    Welcome to UBC forums!

It is a Cyclamen it is looking good.
    Remove all shop wrapping.
Place the pot on a shallow saucer...always water into the saucer not into the leaves.
    Shouldn't need repotting for ages.
    More advise here..

Thank you so much for the info.
she has been watering from the top and too much as there is lots of yellowing in the undergrowth. Should I be cutting the flowers that have started to wilt as there are new buds that haven't opened yet?
