Oaxacan panax

Can anyone identify this Araliaceae member found approx 4000 - 5000 ft elevation in the coastal mountains of Oaxaca?

 

I hesitate to even suggest this... but ....it really reminds me of a couple of Schefflera that we grow in the garden. (origin Asia). They have Schefflera in Mexico, but I am struggling to find info on www.

Can anyone suggest which of the 1000 or so species of Schefflera (if it is one) it might be?

 

If you google Schefflera and Mexico you get Schefflera morototoni... It looked to me very similar to S. taiwaniana that I saw in Taiwan. Is there a Mexican Flora and a treatment of the Araliaceae?
