Hi, I saw this lovely flower growing in gardens around Oak Bay, Victoria. It's a bush about 4 feet tall/wide, growing in full sun. It looks like a peony but it was in full flower in late July and the leaves are more "succulent" looking than a peony's. I've never seen it growing in Vancouver. I took a cutting but it failed to root. Thanks.

Wow, a "tree" poppy! I never would have guessed, but now that I look at the seed pods, they remind me of another poppy in my garden. Thank you so much!
