Hi everyone. I put these in the wrong thread yesterday, so I thought Id repost them here. I love looking at everyone's photo's! These were taken in the NYC botanical gardens.
Was it the same place that had an Amorphophallus flowering? I was reading about it in the globe, the guy made it seem like the thing flowers ever 64 years. I have one at work flowers every year if I'm unlucky I'm there when it flowers. Lovely pictures by the way. Beautiful lilies.
Thanks for the comments. I do have more pictures...Ill get around to posting them some day. This is my break from work :) and thats all I had saved online. Carol, Im not sure. I hadnt heard anything about that.
Those are really nice pictures! Did you catch the Chihuly exhibition? When were you there. We were there 17-27 August. Boy, were we lucky with the weather - just after the temperatures have cooled to the mid to high twenties, and humidity has gone down. It rained the day we left, and I gather, from the postponed games at the US Open tennis, that it rained for a few days after that. I really wanted to go the the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, as I wanted to visit the Cranford Rose garden. But New York City being what it is has so much going on that I did not have a chance to do so. I will leave it for the next trip.
