    hello

i just came back from the pantanal.
There were plenty of Attalea phalerata palm trees .
I brought back some nuts of this palm trees .

I live in belgium , so growing them outside in garden will not work , i think .
But i would be happy if i could grow anything from it .
But how do i do that ?

On internet few informations about how to grow them ?
Could you help me with some information ?
Do i just put the nut in the ground , and water them ?
What kind of ground material should i use ?
    Should i use furtilizer ?
How much water should i give the nut ?

I best grow them in a pot , inside .
I have lots of glas in my house , plenty of sun , and allways 22° Celcius .
    Groundheating system .

From the Pantanal, I'd guess it will like hot, moist, humid conditions. 22°C will probably be a little low for good growth, try 25° to 27°C, maybe even warmer to start with to promote germination.

If the nuts still have any fruit pulp on them, clean it off thoroughly.
